I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!!
I hope you all enjoy yourselves.
I just stayed home with my mom and watched a marathon of different ways of torture throughout history.

Ive also had a really great Christmas too.
Better than I thought it would be, thats for sure!!!
My favorite gifts include:
- CANDY!!!
- Some cool and, dare I say,
sexy outfits!

If only I had a boyfriend or girlfriend to try them out on.

I guess Ill just stick with Handel.

- A cute Christmas teddy bear, as well as an adorable stuffed puppy.
- Handels Messiah on CD
- A few new movies, including
Horton Hears a Who and
Scrooged- and a four disk set of Nancy Drew PC games! 10-13!
Also, I got a few other things that are not necessarily for Christmas.
A very close and dear friend of mine, Heather, is moving to Kentucky so she can go to a private Seventh-day Adventist college there. She gave be a book of quotes from the Bible and said she on days she feels week, she writes down a passage on an index card to carry with her that day, and when she is not doing well, she reads the card and it helps. She is so sweet!
I also got
The Duchess and all three
Little Mermaid movies on DVD.

Now going back to 2009.
2009 marks the 250 anniversary of Handels death on April 14, 1759.
I want to go to London so badly!!! I really want to do something
Sadly I dont think I can.
I can tell this is going to be a depressing year. It has to be depressing if I start out watching ways of torture in history. *sigh* Maybe next year I can afford to go to Germany to celebrate his 325 birthday on February 23. I hope so
Besides, celebrating his birthday is more happy than celebrating the day he died anytime, right?
Anyway, no more of that sadness! I do hope everyone has a great year and has also had a great holiday!

I found this on LiveJournal.
Answer the following questions with the first thought that comes to mind. Then read which each answer means. (No cheating!)1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who is with you?Jill
2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal?A jaguar.
3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?I frezz, becoming afaid. We stare at each other for a while. After a moment or two the jaguar becomes uninterested in me and walks away.
4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing, and before you is your DREAM house. How big is it?Its a large Georgian matsion. You know, kind of like George Washingtons home of Mount Vernon. Its about the same size.
5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence? No, it seems to blend easily with its surroundings, no fence of any kind at all.
6. You enter the house. You walk into the dining room and see the dining room table. What do you see on AND around it?It looks like it has been just set for dinner. The table is filled with Victorian china and candles have been lit. Yet no food has been put on the table yet. A latbe off to the side if filled with various antiques.
7. You exit the house and a cup is on the ground, what kind is it?A silver flask
8. What do you do with the cup?I pick it up and put it in my coat pocket.
9. You walk to the edge of the property where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What kind of body of water is it?A large river that a while down goes into an even larger lake.
10. How will you cross the water?A small raft will be sitting on the rivers edge, along with a large stick to steer with.
___________________________________________________________
1. The person who you are walking in the woods with is the most important person in your life.
2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems in your life.
3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems.
4. The size of your dream home is representative of the size of your ambition to solve your problems.
5. A lack of a fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. Youd prefer people not drop by unannounced. (Come on by everyone, we can go see a movie or something!)
6. If your answer did NOT include food, flowers, or people, then you are generally unhappy.
7. The durability of the material with the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationship.
8. What you did with the cup is representative of your attitude. Is that a good thing?
9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.
10. The way you cross the water is representative to how easy or hard you expect your life to be.
